Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mudashiru Adeleke Shittu is a versatile and seasoned corporate executive with over twenty-three years of professional banking experience most of which was at the top management level. He started his banking career as a Financial Analyst with International Merchant Bank Plc in 1987 before joining Rims Merchant Bank Limited in 1992 where he rose to the position of Head of Treasury.
A pioneer member of the management staff of Consolidated Discounts Limited when the company started operations in 1996, he worked in various capacities as Head of Settlements, Financial Controller, Head Business Support Group, Deputy General Manager Operations and General Manager/Chief Operating Officer before his appointment as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer on August 2, 2010.
Mr. Shittu is a member of the International Who’s Who of Professionals, an alumnus of Ashbridge Business School, United Kingdom. He graduated in Accounting in 1985 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and holds an MBA in Finance from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration.
Leke is vastly exposed to local and international general management and leadership training programs. He is married and blessed with children.
