An astute Banker, Mrs. Taiwo Ige started her banking career in 1981 with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, where she had extensive exposure to various aspects of banking before moving to CDL. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria [ACIB], and an executive member of the Lagos Branch of the Institute. She is also a professional member of the Money Market Association of Nigeria and holder of its Treasury Dealership Certificate.

Taiwo is the current 2nd Vice Chairman of the Association of Professional Women Bankers [APWB], an organisation for professionally qualified Chartered Bankers.

Mrs. Ige has undergone intensive courses both at national and international levels including Back Office Management in Surrey England.

She presently heads the Settlements Department of CDL.
